Robert Dale Gavigan son of Thomas Leo Gavigan, grandson of Ned Gavigan used to say that he had a relative that was a horse trader. He would leave in the morning with one horse and return with three. I am guessing this might have been the fella. Thomas is Edward Gavigan’s (Ned) Brother – TMG – 2025

View down street of an intersection with railroad tracks and a streetlamp hanging from wires. There are storefronts on both sides of the street, and numerous pedestrians on the sidewalk. The visible shop signs are: S.M. Smith Eagle Saloon — billiard and pool upstairs, Bakery and Lunches, Barber Shop, T.S. Ryan Saloon, Hotel Ryan, Hotel Blanchardville, and Sherwin-Williams Paints. At the end of the street, there is a barn [?], and behind it on a hill is a church with a clock tower steeple.
