Since the opening of school, the grammar department teacher and pupils have greatly improved the pearance and convenience of the seats and giving new places to the different pieces of furuiture. Viola Olson returned to the high school Weduesday morning after several days absence on account of illness, Miss Stimm has started the drawing classes in water color work and original design. One unacquainted with the facts wouldn’t know but the pupils had studied drawing for several mouths, the results are so excellent. a Last week’s clean-up committee consisted of Clifford Bartle, Gordon Penniston, Allen Johnson, David Harker, Gordon Gregory. Those doing the work this week are Beulah Houg, Helga Naram, Grace Larson, Walker Williams, Carson Sowl, Gulbran Vinger.
There will be a social in the high school room this Friday evening for the purpose of raising a little cash for the victrola fund. Each lady attending will please provide a basket or box containing lunch for two. Of course the gentlemen know the rest.
